Now Enrolling for 2019-2020
We will continue to accept enrollment forms and make offers based on availability.
Summit Prep is public and tuition-free. We are open to all; there are no admissions requirements.
If there are more students expressing interest in enrolling than the number of available spots, we will use a random selection process to determine who will receive a space.
At Summit Prep, students are empowered, self-directed learners working towards their college & career goals.
SMALLER CLASSES. BIGGER RESULTS. At Summit Prep, we take personalized learning one step further – every student is assigned a faculty mentor who is the student’s coach, college counselor, and advocate. Students learn and grow in a small, safe, and inclusive community.
COLLEGE-PREP CURRICULUM. Students engage in real-world learning projects. These projects teach students to become critical thinkers and develop the habits to be successful.
WORLD-CLASS FACULTY. Our committed educators come from the nation’s top teacher-preparation programs and care deeply about our students. Our teachers focus on building relationships with students and families and coaching students to become truly empowered learners.
AN ENRICHED EXPERIENCE. Beyond the classroom, Summit Prep students can receive academic support, play sports, or lead a club. We are open after hours so students can continue to work on their goals, meet with teachers, or participate in one of our athletic teams or student clubs from soccer to yearbook and music and basketball.
ALL SUMMIT STUDENTS ARE COLLEGE-READY. Every student at Summit Prep takes at least six Advanced Placement (AP) courses and one AP exam before graduation. All graduates meet or exceed four-year college entrance requirements. 99% of Summit graduates are accepted at four-year colleges. Summit graduates are completing college within six years at double the national average.

WHAT DO PARENTS SAY...
I chose Summit Prep twice for both my kids, for different reasons. For one of them, I was looking for a school where he could get the support of teachers and learn the skills to be self sufficient. For the other, I was looking for a school where students could study at their own pace and spend class time on meaningful and relevant projects. I knew that in addition to a high school degree, Summit Prep was preparing them not only for college but to handle problems in the future. While different goals for both kids, I was able to find all of that and more at Summit Prep. Best of all, the Summit Prep journey allowed me and my husband to be involved in many aspects of the school, and make lifelong friends along the way.
Parent of a Summit Prep 10th grader and graduate
There are so many reasons to love Summit Prep. For us, the most important one is academics. Our son attended parochial school K-5, a private middle school and, for the first time, public school as a 9th grader. He shadowed at several schools, both public and private, and fell in love with Summit Prep. When he was accepted, we felt like we had literally won the lottery! Our son was accustomed to a project-based platform in middle school; however, the education that we thought he would receive at that school (and for which we paid a lot of money), we didn’t actually get until he started at Summit Prep. The challenging and 21st-century curriculum at Summit Prep rivals any private school around. The teachers and the executive team are stellar and truly believe in their mission that any student can be college ready.
